We use the phrase “evidence-led” on our home page. It is a phrase that gets used loosely in this field. Here is what we mean by it.
We mean that we read every randomized trial relevant to what we offer. We mean that we keep our own dataset of every patient outcome we have followed at three time points. We mean that when those two sources disagree, we tend to weigh the second more heavily, and we say so.
We do not mean that we wait for a meta-analysis before adopting a useful protocol. Single-suite practice often runs ahead of the literature.
